Jumper, Bag & Jeans – Zara // Boots – Next
I know I haven’t long posted a look with this embroidered jumper but I love it so much, I couldn’t resist shooting another outfit post with it. This time I decided to pair it with light wash, ripped skinny jeans to give more of an overall relaxed look. As you know if you read my last post, which you can view here, I had my eye on this jumper for a good while before deciding to stop pondering over it and just buy it. I was constantly checking online to see if it had sold out, so that to me was a definite sign I needed it in my wardrobe!
For this outfit I decided to do a little ‘clash’. Sometimes making an outfit too ‘matchy’, ‘matchy’ cringes me at the thought. Don’t get me wrong in same cases this does in fact work, however for a casual day-to-day outfit I feel a more ‘thrown’ together look looks much more effortless and this embroidered clutch bag provides the perfect balance of creating that without thinking about it too much.
Its a jumper that’s going to end up as a staple piece in my wardrobe certainly a good edition to the ‘capsule wardrobe‘ I am currently trying to create this year for myself – a whole other blog post dedicated to that another time – [it’s a work in progress right now].
I can’t believe we are in the second week of January already. Its already off to a good start for me so far. Im working on my blog harder than ever and have lots of exciting content to post, I’m launching my very own YouTube Chanel very soon, I’m back to at the gym and I’ve given up chocolate for the month and I feel so much more energetic already.
