So often or not I change up my everyday make up routine depending on a few things, what my skin is loving at the moment and the latest beauty product I may have got my hands on. Currently though I have been using the same makeup each morning for at least the last two months. Ive listed the products below with the colours I use and each one has a link to the product if you fancy trying something for yourself!
Foundation – Loreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation in ’01’
Firstly I use the Real Techniques beauty blender and dab it into the product and then press it into my skin all over my face not forgetting to blend down into my neck. I press instead of sweep as it gives better coverage rather than dragging my skin everywhere.
Contour – Loreal Glam Bronze Cushion De Soleil
I then take my Real Techniques Stippling Brush and dab this into the product. I then use it to contour along my cheekbones taking it up towards my temple and around my hair line. I also use my finger to apply some either side of my nose. I then use a small amount around my jaw line to create definition.
Concealer – Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in ‘Fair 1’
Next I take my favourite concealer and make triangular shapes under my eyes, I then dab this into my skin again using my Real Techniques beauty blender until it is fully blended, sometimes I use my beauty blender damp by spraying it with the Mac Prep and Prime Fix
Setting Powder – Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Transparent 001’
I then use the Real Techniques Tapered Blush Brush 103 to apply a light layer of pressed powder to set my foundation and contouring in place. I usually concentrate mostly on my T-zone where I am more likely to get more shine throughout the day.
Bronzer/Blush – Loreal Glam Bronze La Terra Healthy Glow
I then take the Real Techniques Blush Brush and swirl it around this gorgeous palette to pick up all the colours and apply in the same areas I contoured before with the Loreal Glam Bronze Cushion De Soleil. So across my cheekbones, up towards my temples, either side of my nose and to finish off along my jawline. Sometimes I use the pink colour on its own on the apples of my cheeks as a single blush.
Highlight – The Balm Mary-Lou Manzier
I then use the Real Techniques Bold Metallic Tapered Brush 300 to apply a small amount of highlight to the cheekbones, down the centre of my nose, my cupids bow and sometimes I add a little to my eyebrow bone and the centre of my forehead.
Mascara – Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer / Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes in ‘Black‘
Now onto eyes, firstly I use the tinted primer by benefit, I love this product I feel like it separates every last lash ready to be coated in my favourite black mascara by Lancome that I always go back to. I tend to wiggle my lash wand up through my lashes while applying mascara as this really helps in making sure every lash has been covered and creates a bigger, wide eye look.
Eyebrows – Eyelure Eye Pencil in ‘No.10 Dark Brown’ / Loreal Brow Artist Sculpt in ’02 Brunette’
Eyebrows – the bane of my life. I wish I had someone to do these everyday! I finally found a pencil which I cannot live with out by Eyelure. I always brush my eyebrows before applying this pencil and then to finish the look I use the Artist Sculpt by Loreal to gel and set them into place.
Lips – Mac Lip Pencil in ‘Boldly Bare’ / No.7 Moisture Drench in ‘Caramel Silk 680’
Finally onto lips, I take my favourite mac colour liner and always line my lips from the inner corner towards the cupids bow I always feel this gives my lips a fuller look. I then fill in my lips with the moisture drench lipstick from No.7 which I love in Caramel Silk and this lasts pretty well throughout the day.
So there you have it my current everyday makeup routine, let me know if you use any of the products I have listed or have any products you’d like to recommend to me. I love trying out new makeup.
