When the choker trend came about I wasn’t a fan. I thought that they suited some people but I just couldn’t see myself trying it out, that was until I spotted a choker set in Zara that actually really caught my eye. I picked up this choker set for £15.99 and its a two pack set. One leather black string with silver toggles on either end and then a circular diamante style one. I decided to try out the plain black leather choker first.
I simply wrapped the choker around my neck and loosely tied a knot in the excess string to make it drape. I thought I would give more of a festival vibe with this outfit pairing the leather choker with my favourite cowboy style boots. I bought them from River Island a few years back but they have lasted so well. They actually look brand new they have kept so good. I love the black rose embroidery detail on them and we all know how big embroidery is right now they also have silver studs dotted all over them and give the boots that extra edge.
I picked up these denim longer length shorts and paired them with a simple mustard Tee both from Marks and Spencer [incase you didn’t know mustard is huge for fall 16’] and slung my favourite printed bomber jacket on from H&M [you would think it was Versace from a glance with its heavy print].
Finally for accessories I wore my leather effect buckle belt which I bought from New Look and added my small black and white messenger bag from Next.
