So often or not I change up my everyday make up routine depending on a few things, what my skin is loving at the moment and the latest beauty product I may have got my hands on. Currently though I have been using the same makeup each morning for at least the last two months. Ive listed the products below with the colours I use and each one has a link to the product if you fancy trying something for yourself!

Foundation – Loreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation in ’01’

Firstly I use the Real Techniques beauty blender and dab it into the product and then press it into my skin all over my face not forgetting to blend down into my neck. I press instead of sweep as it gives better coverage rather than dragging my skin everywhere.

Contour – Loreal Glam Bronze Cushion De Soleil

I then take my Real Techniques Stippling Brush  and dab this into the product. I then use it to contour along my cheekbones taking it up towards my temple and around my hair line. I also use my finger to apply some either side of my nose. I then use a small amount around my jaw line to create definition.

Concealer – Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in ‘Fair 1’

Next I take my favourite concealer and make triangular shapes under my eyes, I then dab this into my skin again using my Real Techniques beauty blender until it is fully blended, sometimes I use my beauty blender damp by spraying it with the Mac Prep and Prime Fix

Setting Powder – Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Transparent 001’

I then use the Real Techniques Tapered Blush Brush 103 to apply a light layer of pressed powder to set my foundation and contouring in place. I usually concentrate mostly on my T-zone where I am more likely to get more shine throughout the day.

Bronzer/Blush – Loreal Glam Bronze La Terra Healthy Glow

I then take the Real Techniques Blush Brush and swirl it around this gorgeous palette to pick up all the colours and apply in the same areas I contoured before with the Loreal Glam Bronze Cushion De Soleil. So across my cheekbones, up towards my temples, either side of my nose and to finish off along my jawline. Sometimes I use the pink colour on its own on the apples of my cheeks as a single blush.

Highlight – The Balm Mary-Lou Manzier

I then use the Real Techniques Bold Metallic Tapered Brush 300 to apply a small amount of highlight to the cheekbones, down the centre of my nose, my cupids bow and sometimes I add a little to my eyebrow bone and the centre of my forehead.

Mascara – Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer  / Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes in ‘Black

Now onto eyes, firstly I use the tinted primer by benefit, I love this product I feel like it separates every last lash ready to be coated in my favourite black mascara by Lancome that I always go back to. I tend to wiggle my lash wand up through my lashes while applying mascara as this really helps in making sure every lash has been covered and creates a bigger, wide eye look.

Eyebrows – Eyelure Eye Pencil in ‘No.10 Dark Brown’ / Loreal Brow Artist Sculpt in ’02 Brunette’

Eyebrows – the bane of my life. I wish I had someone to do these everyday! I finally found a pencil which I cannot live with out by Eyelure. I always brush my eyebrows before applying this pencil and then to finish the look I use the Artist Sculpt by Loreal to gel and set them into place.

Lips – Mac Lip Pencil in ‘Boldly Bare’ /  No.7 Moisture Drench in ‘Caramel Silk 680’

Finally onto lips, I take my favourite mac colour liner and always line my lips from the inner corner towards the cupids bow I always feel this gives my lips a fuller look. I then fill in my lips with the moisture drench lipstick from No.7 which I love in Caramel Silk and this lasts pretty well throughout the day.

So there you have it my current everyday makeup routine, let me know if you use any of the products I have listed or have any products you’d like to recommend to me. I love trying out new makeup.

Hunting around Swansea for a new ‘shoot’ location and we came across the ever so picturesque Botanical Gardens in Singelton Park. Although I have been to Singelton Park many times before I never knew that this Botanical Garden existed! I couldn’t believe it, its so beautiful and colourful especially when the sun is shining it was the perfect place to shoot.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t hold up for long [no surprise there] and as you can see my hat is covered in rain drops, it was torrential rain and me and my fiancé hid under an arch way of trees to shelter us from the majority of the rain before we made a quick run back to the car.

So about a month ago I landed my dream job as an Assistant Fashion Buyer for Peacocks Head Office. Fast forward three months and its actually my last day today. Why, you ask? Well the travelling has finally taken its toll and I knew I couldn’t do the journeys anymore. Getting up at 6am to drive to the train station to catch the 6:50 train which gets to my destination by 8am then I having a 20/25 minute walk to work to start at 8.30am. I then would finish work at 5pm walk my 20/25 minute walk back to the station for the 5:40 train back home then get back home at 6:50 which is a full 12hours after I caught it in the morning.
Exhausting. Tiring. Long days.  Don’t get my wrong, I know I’ve worked a 12 hour shift before [much closer to home] and I don’t know what it is but the travelling to and from this job just really takes it out on me.  I knew the days were going to be long but actually doing the journey was a lot harder than said. I decided I couldn’t do this anymore as I was getting physically and mentally exhausted, feeling constantly tired all the time and not having any time with Nick my fiancé let alone any ‘me’ time.

This was only my third ever job in my life. I worked at as a Sales Assistant and Team Coach at Next for eight years, an Interior Designer at Leekes and now lucky enough to have landed a second Buying position back closer to home. I’ve been lucky enough to get all these jobs very successfully.
So here’s to the next chapter of my career starting a new position as a buyer closer to home for a home and gift wear company ideally combining my love for interiors and buying into one.

Anyone that lives in Wales understands the tremendous amount of rain we get, so when the sun decided to make an appearance recently of course I made every effort to get summer dressed and head to the beach. Although it was rather windy I can’t help but love the sea breeze and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.

So we arrived in Nice. As we knew we were only in the South of France for two days! (Yes a quick trip we know – back to the reality of work on Monday morning) we made sure we were all ready to get off the plane as quick as possible, head straight to our luggage and get straight to Avis where we hired our car from.
Good job we were quick the Avis queue had already built up so we joined quickly! Unfortunately we were got out of the airport about an hour and a half later due to queuing which was annoying but finally we were on route to Monaco. We headed straight to cafe de Paris and had food as we were starving. It wasn’t as good as last year but the sun was shining and we were in Monaco!
We finally checked into our hotel The Columbus Monaco after our sat nav had a bit of a hissy fit and we had no service on our mobile phones! The service was outstanding and the hotel was beautiful. The second day was my 25th birthday waking up in Monaco with my fiancé was amazing -beautiful scenery, amazing weather and delicious food, what more could I want?
We headed down for breakfast and it was so delicious I forgot to even photograph it. I had pancakes and crepes with Nutella, followed by a strawberry Danone yogurt which always taste so much better abroad! Nick had a full breakfast and said it was so good.
We headed out and shot blog posts in the morning to make the most of the beautiful scenery which you can see here and here. While shooting we came across ‘Heli Monaco’ which was right by our hotel we watched some helicopters take off and land and decided to go inside for more information. Nick said what better way to celebrate my 25th and our engagement than take a helicopter ride over Monaco!? It was more pricey than we thought but decided to go ahead anyway and our slot was booked for 12pm our check out time! We had a whole hour to shoot one last post [here]

and pack our room before loading the car ready to have our helicopter flight before heading to Monaco to relax on the beach all day. What a perfect weekend.

Finally we have Monaco: Outfit Diaries 3 live! We shot these images after going for a stroll near our hotel ‘The Columbus Monaco’ and came across this pretty lake. It was so peaceful and tranquil around there it was the perfect place to shoot some images.

I picked up this ‘off the shoulder’ floral laser cut top from none other than my favourite shop Zara in the sale along with the matching three quarter trousers. I decided not to take the trousers away with me this time as I wanted to pair it with this beige skirt I picked up from Marks and Spencer. I thought the neutral skirt made the top stand out more while picking out the neutral shades from the top. I then finished the look off with my favourite roman gladiators and my beige suede and camel over the shoulder bag – which can be also changed into a clutch bag.

I was so happy to be able to get this culotte jumpsuit for a bargain price of £12.99, the last one too!. If you know me well enough you know that I am an avid bargain hunter. I may own a lot of clothes [if you’ve seen my wardrobe and accessories collection you will understand] but I think around 80% off my clothes and accessories I own I have purchased are during the sales. I feel like this way I can buy more as I’m saving in the long run right?! Thats the way I like to think anyway…

I paired this jumpsuit with my camel laser cut tie up heels also from Zara and my beige suede and camel clutch again as it matches perfectly with the heels and picks up that mustard colour from the jumpsuit so I thought it all tied together really nicely. This clutch bag is one of the best bags Ive bought as its so neutral its very versatile and can be paired with many colours and can also be turned into a clutch for the evenings.

So my fiancé Nick gave me the best 25th birthday present, a weekend away to one of our favourite places – Monaco! It was the best surprise ever. I was so excited to get away even if it was just for the weekend and back to the reality of getting up at 6am for work again on Monday morning.

We stayed at The Columbus in Monaco which was set in the perfect location with the most beautiful gardens right opposite our hotel where we decided to shoot these photos – how could we not?!

Im wearing a beautiful ditsy floral dress from Zara which I actually picked up the day before we flew to Monaco in the sale at a bargain price of £12.99, how could I not resist? I just love how it sits on my body and drapes across the front, of course I couldn’t resist taking a new outfit away with me.
