Hi everyone, I posted an everyday make up blog post before which you can read here and it proved quite popular. I decided to do another one as since that first one I have added a few new beauty products to my routine and I thought I would share it with you.
Firstly before putting on any makeup I always Cleanse, Tone and moisturise with my Liz Earle products which you can read about here. This helps prep the skin to hold my make up all day.
Prime
I always prep my base before my foundation using the Becca Backlight Priming Filter, this honestly keeps my base on and prolongs my makeup and saves me doing touch up’s throughout the day.
Foundation
I recently switched my foundation from Mac to this L’Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Light Infusing Foundation with SPF18 in the shade Rose Pearl. When I saw the colour was called ‘Rose Pearl‘ and the packaging was rose gold I kind of just picked it for that but I really like it on my skin, it gives such a dewy glow. I also love using my number one foundation which is the L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation this glides on so easy and has such a light, airy texture to it.
Set
I set my foundation currently with the NYX HD Finishing Powder in Banana. If I am being honest this powder is definately not my favourite and I much prefer using my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent.
Contour
Instead of using my favourite Smashbox contour palette everyday I wanted to buy a smaller palette which is quick and easier to use on the go. This L’Oreal True Match Highlight is great as you can sweep your brush through two of the shades and sweep it across your cheeks at the same time to create a quick contoured look. Also a little trick, this can also double up as a mini eyeshadow palette.
Highlight
I use the Becca Champagne Collection Shimmering Skin Perfecter in ‘Champagne Pop’. This has got to be one of my favourite go to night time highlighters, for a more everyday highlight I use my Mary-Loumanizer by The Balm.
Blusher
My favourite blusher of the moment is the Nars Cosmetics Blush in ‘Orgasm‘. This is their most popular shade and now I know why the colour is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t get enough of it.
Lips
I line my lips with the Mac Lip Pencil in ‘Boldly Bare’. I also use this to fill in part of my lips before using the Mac Honey Love Lipstick to finish off my look.
Eyes
For my eyes I love using my Tartlette Tease Clay Palette and the Laura Geller DramaLASH Maximum Volumizing Mascara to create thick, dark lashes.
EyeBrows
For my eyebrows I swear by the Eyelure Firm Brow Pencil in NO.10 Dark Brown. I then set my brows using the L’Oreal Paris Brow Artiste Sculpt Blonde 01.
