The Outfit
Choker, Dress, Bag & Shoes – All Zara
Firstly, Happy Halloween everybody! I hope your all having a fantastic evening.
Honestly it wasn’t intentional, I didn’t realise this whole look was from Zara until I actually wrote the outfit details above. Safe to say ‘Im a Zara addict – help me!‘ I decided to post this look today in honour of halloween. I thought it was the perfect outfit post pairing dark leather-esque clothes with vampy lips. I didn’t plan much for halloween this year between being in Florida until the 20th October and being jet lagged until at least the 23rd and my first day back in work being the 24th. I didn’t actually give it much thought and if I am honest I’m not a huge fan of fancy dress anyway. I do this every year, I always say I will make a huge effort with my costume but it never happens. One year I will, I hope.
I had my eye on this beautiful laser cut leather-esque dress from Zara for a while I think it was around £59.99 roughly but I didn’t want to spend that much on it. I came across it in the sale at £29.99 a few months later and decided it was too good of a bargain to miss out on so I bought it. Its a thick, structured A line dress that fits perfectly and sits so well on the body.
Now on to the accessories, this bag I actually purposely bought to wear to my engagement party but decided to use it early as it fitted so well with this outfit look. Its a small black crocodile effect mini box clutch with a small silver chain and clasp. If I’m honest its not very practical due to the size but its big enough to fit the minimal essentials in including a phone, lipstick, cards and some cash, which I guess is all you need these days.
As you know I love my Zara nude laser cut heels which are heavily featured on my blog and when I saw them on zara.com in the black suede I couldn’t believe it I knew I had to have them but there was no way I was paying full price for them like I did with my nude ones. I was determined to get them in the sale. Luckily I managed to get them in the sale for either £29.99 or £39.99 I can’t quite remember exactly but Im so glad I got hold of them, They compliment the dress perfectly with the laser cut detailing.
Lastly to finish this look I decided to pair one of my new chokers from a set of two to give it that extra edge and the silver sparkles broke up the black a little and matched the silver hardware on my bag also.
I hope you like my halloween inspired outfit post! What did you do for halloween?
